There’s plenty of time to get into the holiday spirit, whether it’s sipping on a warm festive drink, listening to seasonal classics or meeting Santa Clause. Here are four events happening around the Littleton area in the lead-up to Christmas.
Where: First Presbyterian Church of Littleton, 1609 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton
When: Dec. 11 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
The Colorado Choir will host a special Saturday matinee concert, a shorter version of their full concert program that features traditional and contemporary holiday music.
Where: ViewHouse Littleton, 2680 W. Main St., Littleton
When: Dec. 11 at 11 a.m.
The ViewHouse in downtown Littleton will be hosting a holiday brunch and ornament exchange.
Where: Littleton Museum, 6028 S. Gallup St., Littleton
When: Dec. 12 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Hosted by the Littleton Museum and Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum, attendees will be transported back in time to the 1800s with this outdoor event on the grounds of the museum’s living history farm.
The event will feature wagon rides, costumed actors who will teach about life in the 1800s, and warm drinks such as apple cider, all lit by luminaries along paths. Children can also make art and write letters to Santa who will visit via video call from inside the museum.
Cost for children aged 12 to 16 is $3 for members and $4 for non-members. For adults it is $7 for members and $10 for non-members. Go to tinyurl.com/littletonmuseumholiday to purchase tickets.
Where: Peak Community & Wellness Center, 6612 S. Ward St., Littleton (south Jeffco near Simms and Coal Mine)
When: Dec. 11 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Hosted by the Foothills Park and Recreation District and the Children’s Hospital Colorado, parents can bring their children to meet and take a photo with Santa while enjoying a catered breakfast and holiday music.
Cost is $15 for child and $20 for adult. Children under 12 months are free. You must register at tinyurl.com/foothillsbreakfastwithsanta to attend.
